Gone with the Wind

The classic Civil War romance returns to the silver screen for the first time in full Technicolor splendor with digitally remastered sound and new footage. Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh continue their love affair as legendary couple Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler.

Well Gone With the Wind is back and it's just as long and over-dramatic as it was the first time. When I go see a movie about the old south I want to see dirty rednecks having shotgun wars and beating their slaves, not a bunch of women dressed up in frilly dresses. The digitially remastered sound wasn't that great and the new footage was mediocre at best. All they did was add a few scenes that were cut out such as Scarlet O'Hara's meeting with Jabba the Hutt before she escapes from the plantation. Famous lines such as "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" just don't impress me. Besides I was saying that way before this movie came out. As god is my witness, I will never watch this movie again!
